Ellen Jane Stewart, 94, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her home in Princeton, surrounded by her loving family.

Born March  7, 1929, in Mohawk, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wyatt Cline and Lundia Short Cline.

Ellen enjoyed sewing, working in her garden, quilting, canning, camping and hunting for bargains at yard sales. She was a longtime member of The Old Regular Baptist Church. Ellen was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Stewart, five sisters and three brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Gary Kirk and wife Audrey, Greg Kirk and David Kirk and wife Charlene; two grandchildren, Gary Kirk II and wife Christy and Jessica Cook and husband Matt; four great-grandchildren, Willow and Dylan Kirk and Tyler and Logan Cook; a host of nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
