Dwight "Ears" Meadows

Dwight Eugene “Ears” Meadows, 88, of Pineville went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 6, 2021 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. He was gloriously saved in June of 1998 at Turkey Ridge Baptist Church in Oceana and was a faithful member of Rockcastle Baptist Church in Pineville. 

He was the son of the late Dwight Meadows and Gertrude Lester Meadows.

Dwight was a veteran of the US Army, a former Wyoming County Commissioner, and a retired serviceman for Appalachian Power Company’s Pineville Division.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary and his son Greg.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Eunice Meadows of Hamilton, OH, sister Mary Lou Billehus of Pineville, son Bradley Kevin Meadows of Belle, son Morris Dean Meadows of Matheny, son Dwight David Meadows and wife Andi of Lynco; also surviving him are his grandchildren Karri Mullins and husband Eddie of Pinnacle, NC, Kate Meadows of Lynco, Lyndsie Suttle and husband Billy of Ruffin, SC, Haleigh Halubka and husband Chris of Lincolnton, NC, Greg Meadows of Pineville, Dwight and Nichole Meadows of Tucson, AZ; his great-grandchildren, Zackary and Ashlee Blankenship, Kyleigh Banther, Jaxon Suttle, Joseph Banther, Ava Meadows, Allie Meadows, Jason Suttle,  Meredith Caroline Meadows and Jarrod Banther.
