Duane K Browning

Duane Keith Browning, age 67, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, after a lengthy battle with colon cancer.

Born June 4,1954 in Welch, WV, he was the son of the late Virgil Browning and Marie Osborne Browning.

Duane was a Vietnam-era veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973-1977.

He earned his master’s degree in business administration while working full-time at EQT.

He was a member of Clear Fork Valley Baptist Church and was an avid Bible student.

He was a lover of running, fishing, kayaking, and bluegrass music. He was a proficient banjo player.

He loved his children and grandchildren and all the noise that accompanied them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Philip Browning, and a sister, Vanessa Adkins.

Survivors include his wife of forty seven years, Teresa Kim Acord Browning; two sons, Jason Browning and Ashton Browning; four daughters, Jessica Goodson and husband Mikey, Jennifer Walshe, Hailey Browning, and Abigail Browning; two grandsons, Hayden Browning and Derick Goodson; two granddaughters, Sarah Browning and Reagan Walshe; two sisters, Elaine Robertson and Janice Boyce; and a brother, Neil Browning.
