Donald Green Obituary

Donald (Donnie) Green, 71, of Roderfield, formerly of Pineville passed away surrounded by his loving family Friday, December 24, 2021at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Born May 2, 1950 in Welch, he was the son of the late Willis Green and Gracie Lane Green.

Donnie was an avid hunter and loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Brenda Green; two brothers, Willis (Bo) Anthony and Ronald (Ronnie) Green; a nephew, Douglas (Adam) Mullens and; a niece, Tonya Dotson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Diana Cook and husband Mark of Adger, AL, Rose Cook and husband John of Roderfield and Vicki Wesley and husband Harlan of Beckley; two brothers, Randy Green of Welch and Joe Green and wife Rachel of Pineville; six grandchildren, Tashana Wilmoth of Adger, AL, Doug Green and wife Morgan of Iaeger, Isabella and Blaine Cook of Roderfield, and Caleb and Ethan Wesley, both of Beckley; three great-grandchildren, Kenzley Wilmoth of Adger, AL and Ray’Lynn and Brendalin Green of Iaeger; and extended family members, Debbie Hodges and her son Daniel (Boone) Green of Welch.

To honor Donnie’s wishes, he will be cremated, and services will be scheduled for a later date and time.
