David D Colbird

David DeWayne Colbird, 55, of Herndon passed away Monday September 16, 2024, at Raleigh General Hospital following a long illness. 

He was born March 17, 1969, in Mullens, WV to Roger Colbird and the late Belinda Hamby Colbird.

David attended Guyandotte Baptist Church.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.  He was an avid NASCAR and baseball fan and enjoyed listening to both.  David cherished family and spending time with his loved ones.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jayden and a sister-in-law, Linda.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Hutton Colbird; his father Roger Colbird; his children Eric Colbird, Roger Colbird and wife Heather, Davey Colbird and wife Jessica, Shania and companion Donivan; and his grandchildren Hayden, Haylei, Caleb, James, River, Jesse, Brooklynn, Arabella, and Brayden.
