Obituary
Daniel Brooks, 71, of Jesse, passed away peacefully Wednesday May 24, 2023 at Bowers House in Beckley. Born May 9, 1952 he was the son of the late Pastor Wiley F. Brooks Jr. and Ada Jewell Brooks.
Daniel was the shop foreman for Star Manufacturing. He was a longtime member of the Guyandotte Baptist Church. He loved Southern Gospel music and enjoyed being outside working in his flowers and watching the birds. Daniel was deeply devoted to his family.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Stewart.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Paula; children, Jonathan Brooks and his wife, Stephanie, Jewell LaClair and her husband, Justin, Amanda Hill, Amelia Mullens and her husband, Chris and Andrew Hill, four grandchildren, Jillian Baird, Kaylee Harold, Dale Harold and Claire Mullens; brother, Steve Brooks; sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
