Clyde Boggs

Clyde Boggs 93, of Pineville passed away Tuesday March 16, 2021. 

Born April 15, 1927 in Grantsville he was the son of the late Wyatt and Laura Jarvis Boggs. 

Clyde was a veteran of the United States Navy, proudly serving in World War II,  he had over 47 years in the natural gas industry until his retirement. He was a member of the Pineville Volunteer Fire Department for almost 50 years.  Clyde loved walking in Pineville and walking on the airport road near his home. He was a people person that loved all of the many friends that he had in our area. Clyde loved his furbabies,  he was a loving father and enjoyed good food. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 2 brothers Charles "Bubby" Boggs and Brenton Boggs, his grandson Jeff Boggs, and his nephew Chuck Boggs. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his three children: Mike Boggs and his wife Mary of Charlotte, Joseph Boggs and his wife Kim of Princeton, and Kelly Boggs of Pineville. 2 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of countless friends and his beloved brothers and sisters in the Fire Department.

In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated. No public services will be held at this time.
