Clifford Hale (Pig) Acord

Clifford Hale “Pig” Acord, 62, of Kopperston, went home flying high to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday June 6, 2023. He was born July 29, 1960 in Pineville. Pig was the son of the late Ambers Acord Deloris Wyatt Morgan.

He was a loving husband, father and papaw. Pig loved hunting and fishing. He attended the The Well Family Worship Center in Lynco.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Edward Acord, Rick Acord and Anthony “Tony” Acord and his daughter Kaula Marie Acord.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of twenty-six years, Lori Michele Sanders of Kopperston; brother in law, Gregory Glenn Sanders of Kopperston; daughter, Kristy McKenzie of Charleston; son, Joseph “Joey” Jude and his wife Arielle of Mount Hope; daughter, Jessica Crouse and her husband Bobby of Kopperston; nine grandchildren. Rebecca Jude of Ravencliff, Francis “Lil’ Man’ McKenzie Jr. and his wife, Josie of Charleston, Courtney Jude of Ravencliff, Zackery “Zack” Crouse of Kopperston, Alexis “Lexi” Crouse of Kopperston, Makayla Jude of Ravencliff, Ivan Jude of Pineville, Gage Shepperd of Mount Hope and Adalee “Addy” Jude of Mount Hope; two great grandchildren, Francis “Scoop” McKenzie III of Charleston and Freya McKenzie of Charleston; his best friend and brother by choice, Everette Vance and his wife, Shalonda of Kopperston and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friend.
