Charles Arvelle Mink

Charles Arvelle Mink, 68, of New Richmond, passed away January 14, 2020. Born February 3, 1951 in Wyoming county, he was the son of the James “Jim Bob” and Charlotte Cook Mink.

Charlie was a 1969 graduate of Pineville High School. He was known as “Choo Choo Charlie Mink” when he played football for the Pineville Minutemen. After graduating from Concord College, he and his brother owned and operated Jim’s Used Cars in Pineville and New Richmond. Charlie loved to fish.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Christina Adkins and her husband Jason of Virginia Beach Va and James Everett Mink of New Richmond grandchildren, Madelyn Mink and Jayce Adkins; sister and brother, Ruby Poff and her husband Jackie and James R. Mink and a host of nieces and nephews.
