Carla Renee Carter Cook 53, of Brenton passed away on Sunday May 9, 2021 following a long illness. 

Born December 22, 1967 in Mullens, she was the daughter of the late Curits Ott and Patsy Ruth West Carter. 

Carla enjoyed camping and being with her family. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband James Cook, her son James Curtis Cook, 2 brothers Casey Carter, and Josh Addair, her Aunt Dixie Lusk, Aunt Gracie Browning, and her cousin Shannon Lusk, a host of extended family, and friends. 

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services
