Brenda Sue Stewart

Brenda Sue Stewart, 82, went to her Heavenly home Saturday, April 25, 2026, at her home.

Born March 8, 1944, in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late William Centers and Irene Smallie Centers.

A lifelong resident of Wyoming County and member of Saulsville Baptist Church, Brenda was well loved throughout the community. Known for her friendly smile and cheerful attitude, she made many friends throughout her twenty-year career at Peoples Bank of Mullens.

Once retired, Brenda was thrilled to have more time to spend with her family, whom she loved dearly. While Brenda was always up for shopping, she also appreciated some down time. She got great pleasure from cuddling with her cats while watching Hallmark and Disney movies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, Kenny Stewart and four siblings, JoAnn, Joyce, Charlene and Gene.

She will be forever remembered by her son, Kenneth Scott Stewart; grandchildren, Kendall Stewart and fiancé Devan and Kalli Perdue and husband Brandon; great-grandchild, Kayson Eary; three sisters, Linda Dameron and husband Jim, Louise Miles and Darlene Lester and husband Roger; two nieces, Susan Rafferty and Robin Brown; and a host of fri
