Brenda Carol Green

Brenda Carol Green, 69, passed away at Bowers Hospice House April 2, 2020 in Beckley, WV.

Born September 5, 1950 In Pineville, WV, she was adopted by Wade and Grace Lemon.

Brenda was a devoted wife and mother. Her family was very important to her. She attended Carswell Hollow Church Of God.

In addition to her adoptive parents, she was preceded in death by her biological parents, Jack Buchanan and Rosenell Lindsey; her brother, Eddie Buchanan; her baby sister, Geraldine Lindsay; her adoptive siblings, Wilda J. Backert, Annette C. Laxton and Clyde H. Lemon; her father-in-law, Willis Green; mother-in-law, Gracie M. Green; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Green and Willis A “Bo” Green; nephews, Ernest Rollins and Douglas “Adam” Mullins; and a special niece, Tanya Byrd.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of fifty one years, Donald “Donnie” Gene Green; daughters, Brenda “Diana” Green Cook and husband, Mark of Adger, AL; Gracie Rosenell “Rose” Green Cook and husband, John of Roderfield, Victoria Lynn “Vicki” Green Wesley and husband, Harlan of Ravencliff and Rachael Irene Nicole Green and husband, Joe; a brother, Jack Buchanan and wife, Linda; sisters, Kathy Ann “Suzy” Cozort and husband, Robert, Karen Sharpe, Pam Ray and husband, David and Shelia Buchanan; grandchildren, Tashana Diane “Shana” Wilmoth, Donald Douglas “Doug” Green and fiancé, Abby Lefevers, Carol Isabella “Bella” Cook, Blaine Cook, Harlan “Caleb” Wesley, and Ethan Thomas Wesley; and a great-granddaughter, Kenzley Grace Wilmoth.
