Brenda G Cook

Brenda Goldie Tilley Cook, 68, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Raleigh General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born June 5, 1954 in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Bernerd Stepp and Elizabeth Tilley Sinecoff.

Brenda absolutely loved the Lord. She was a member of Ravencliff Church of God of Prophecy for over forty years, where she enjoyed singing and teaching Sunday School.

She was the owner and operator of Brenda’s Family Haircare for thirty years. She enjoyed being with and cooking for her family. She especially loved spoiling her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of fifty-one years, Paul Cook; her sister, Patricia Sinecoff; and her mother, Elizabeth Sinecoff.

She will be dearly missed by her three sons, Nathan Cook II and wife Heather, Matthew Cook and wife Jessica and Aaron Cook and wife Rachel; six grandchildren, Nathan Cook III, Noah Cook, Tyler Cook, Logan Cook, Brianna Cook and Brandon Cook; two brothers, Roger Stewart and Randy Sinecoff; and a host of extended family and countless friends.
