Brandon Bailey Obituary

Brandon Earl Bailey, 32, of Ghent, formerly of Pineville, West Virginia, passed away on February 26, 2026.

Born on January 3, 1994, to Gerald and Deanna (Acord) Bailey, Brandon entered this world with a spark that never dimmed. He was a 2012 graduate of Westside High School and carried with him a smile that could light up any room he walked into. Brandon was known as a big guy — but nothing compared to the size of his heart or the depth of his love for his family and friends.

Brandon had the best sense of humor and an ornery streak that kept everyone on their toes. He loved a good prank and never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh. He was a man with the biggest heart and a natural desire to help others in any way he could.

An avid outdoorsman, Brandon felt most at home in the woods hunting, on the lake fishing, or working on his farm. He appreciated the quiet strength of the outdoors and found peace in God’s creation. Whether casting a line at sunrise or riding a tractor at home, he embraced the simple, meaningful moments of life.

Of all the roles he held, none meant more to him than being a father. His precious daughter, Kimber Rayne, was the light of his life and his purpose. He loved her intensely and deeply, and there was nothing in this world that brought him greater pride or joy than being her daddy. His love for her was fierce, unwavering, and evident to all who knew him.

Brandon was a beloved father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He worked at Road Fork No. 52 Mine in Pineville, alongside men he considered brothers, taking pride in his hard work and providing for his family.

Those waiting to welcome him in Heaven are his paternal grandparents, Violet and Jimmy “Joe” Bailey; his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Acord; his great-grandparents, David Earl and Jean Acord; and his aunt, Mylisa Graham.

In addition to his parents and his daughter, those left to cherish his memory include his maternal grandfather, Richard Acord and his wife, Gail, of Ravencliff; his sister Natasha, her husband Zack, and their sons, Kasen and Kyden Helmandollar of Pineville; his sister Alyssa and her husband, Ethan Stewart, also of Pineville; his cousin, more like a brother, Joseph Bailey of Glen Fork; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Though his time here was far too short, Brandon lived fully, loved fiercely, and left an imprint on every heart he touched. His laughter will echo in stories told and through the countless memories he created with those who knew him best. He will be forever loved and forever missed.

A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8th, at Christ Community Church in Jesse. Friends may gather from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

He will be laid to rest in the winds, waters, and woods he so dearly loved.
