Billie Hannan 89, of Pineville went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2020 following a long illness.
Born April 26, 1930 in Pineville, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Cook Workman.
Billie was a longtime member of the Pineville Church of the Nazarene, she loved going to church and being with her church family. Billie loved crocheting, singing and being with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Hannan, her son Bobby Gene Hannan,her step mother Pearl Workman, 3 sisters Ruby Lyons, Eilene Garrison, Sandra O'Neal, her brother Doug Workman, and her grandson Charles Hannan.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Ruth Gardner and her husband Rick, of Itmann, her grandchildren Jennifer Meadows and her husband Matt, Lisa Stacy and companion Allen Preston, Belinda Cuningham and husband Mike, Bobby Hannan and wife Paula, Melissa Curtis and Christina Morgan, 20 great grandchildren, her sisters Ruth, Mary Lou, Sue and Debby, her brothers, Jimmy and Cameron and a host of nieces, nephews,and countless church family and friends.
Services will be Tuesday January 21, 2020 at 1pm at the Pineville Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Matt Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Family Cemetery in Skin Fork WV. Pallbearers will be C.J. Stacy, Mike Gardner, Stephen Mullens, Rick Gardner, Matt Meadows, and Allen Preston.
Friends may gather with the family from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
