Beulah Ethel Cook Hill, 95, entered Heaven’s gates on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.
She was born July 12, 1929, to the late John Wesley McKinney and Luana Graham McKinney.
A member of Rockcastle Baptist Church for over seventy years, she sang in the choir, where she was able to express her love for gospel music. Always active in her community, she was a member of Eastern Star and ABW, where she made many friends throughout the years.
When Beulah wasn’t spending time with her family or church family, whom she loved dearly, she could often be found sewing, crocheting, working on her latest quilting project or quietly reading a book.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Cook, her second husband, Carmel Hill, twelve siblings, and her son-in-law, David J. Flemm.
She is survived by her only child, Lois Flemm of Colliers, WV; two grandchildren, Jessica Anne Harmon and husband Charlie and Andrew Michael Flemm and wife Reana; great-grandson, Jonathan Harmen; longtime friend and caregiver, Louise Carothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
