Betty Jane Stevens

Betty Jane Stevens, 90, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Richmond.

Born December 20, 1929 in Pineville, WV, she was the daughter of the late William Ray Adams and Icie Green Adams.

Betty was a longtime member of Cook Memorial Baptist Church, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years and was a member of the choir. She was very active in the various activities of the church. She was also a member of the Jewell-Asbury Ladies Circle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George; a sister, Pam Adams; and a brother, Bill Adams.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Mike Stevens and wife Vikki of Rockview, Mitch Stevens and wife Marsha of Rockview and Michelle Morgan and husband Richard of Pineville; four grandchildren, Luke Stevens and wife Julie, Levi Stevens and fiancé Jen Miles, Megan Stevens and McKenzie Stevens; two great-grandchildren, Wade and Willow Stevens; two brothers, Bob Adams and wife Margie of Rockview and Lloyd Adams and wife Marie of Pineville; and a sister, Kay Tilley and husband Leo of Pickens, SC.
