Great grandson; Hercules. Nieces she considered her own; Letha (Jordan) Megan (Samantha) Great nephews she called her grandchildren; Chase, Andy, Cory, Asher, Trae, Xander and numerous other family members and friends.
Belinda was preceded in death by her father, Lydge Burns; sister, Lena Burns; grandparents, John and Eva Burns.
May 5th 1962, Belinda was born in Chicago, Illinois. She raised her daughters in King, North Carolina and then later moved back to reside in Pineville, West Virginia. She found great joy in being a mother and grandmother. She may have biologically only had two children but she was known to many as Mom and Nanny. She never missed the opportunity to tell them all how proud she was of them. They all often heard the words “I love you to the moon” from her. She was so excited to attend any sports her grandchildren played. She would always be the loudest one in the stands, cheering them on! To her, there was nothing better than a good coloring book and being surrounded by all her “babies”. She had a life long passion for horses. She always said they were her happy place.
She will be missed greatly. She may be gone from our sight but never gone from our hearts. The loss of her is immeasurable, but so is the love she left behind.
Mathew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
