Alice Louise (Smith) Lester

Alice Louise Lester, a loving matriarch and pillar of strength, passed away in her home at the age of 81 in Mabscott, WV. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

Alice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found joy in the simple things – watching birds, listening to music, and dancing along. Her greatest achievement in life was raising her children and grandchildren, whom she loved more than anything.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Curcetis Lynn Lester, daughter Sonya Lynette Shrewsberry (Pinky), son Johnny Curtis Lester, grandchildren Johnny  Lester Jr. (JJ) and Natasha Lester (Tasha), great-grandchild Trevor Lester, and many other loved ones.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband Paul Lester, daughters Angie Lester (David McDaniel) of Pineville and Summer Lester of Mabscott, son Roy Lester (Mary Lester) of Crab Orchard, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Alice was a strong-minded woman who faced life's challenges with courage and determination until the very end. Her legacy of love, strength, and resilience will live on through her family and all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Alice. Your love and memory will be cherished forever.
