Aldeen Browning

Aldeen Browning, 92, of Rock View, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Richmond. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was born April 16, 1929 in Key Rock, WV to the late William Ellison and Rosabelle Pendry Ellison.

Aldeen was a master seamstress, she was very talented and worked many years doing sewing for many in our community.

She was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

While she enjoyed spending time outdoors doing yardwork and gardening, she especially liked cooking for her family and friends.

Aldeen was a longtime member of Rockcastle Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Bernerd Stewart and her second husband Bernerd Browning. She was also preceded in death by her eleven siblings and her grandson David Laxton.

Aldeen is survived by her two sons, Gary Stewart of Key Rock and Ed Laxton and his wife Barbara also of Key Rock; Five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and countless friends.
