William Charlie Ferguson Jr.

William Charlie Ferguson Jr., 64, of Gap Mills, passed away peacefully Saturday February 9 2019. Born December 18, 1954 in Grundy Va, he was the son of the late William Charlie Ferguson Sr. and Viola Garnett Elkins Damron.

William was an avid wrestling fan. He also loved animals. He enjoyed being around people and never met a stranger. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Ben Damron, his sister, Dorsia Walker and his sister in law, Vicki Ferguson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Chester Ferguson Sr. and his daughter Chasity of Gap Mills and Roger Elkins Sr. and his wife, Rhea of Stollings; his sisters, Ella Rhonda Damron,of Gap Mills, Nancy Miller and her husband Dennis of Gap Mills, Jane Chafin and her husband Freddie of Chicago IL and Shelby Burgess of Oceana; his niece and caregiver, Garnett Withrow and her husband Eric; special great nieces and nephews, Haley, Abigail and Eli and numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
