Sara Whitt Obituary

Sara Ann Whitt 40, of Saulsville passed away Tuesday March 12, 2019. 

Born May 16, 1978 in Beckley she was the daughter of Bernard Timothy and Debby Ann Canada Whitt of Saulsville. 

Sara was a 1996 graduate of Pineville High School, where she excelled in volleyball, basketball, and played one year of softball., she lettered in each of these sports. Following graduation, she attended Concord University for two years, and then atteneded WVU Tech for two years, where she graduated and was a member of Alpha Sigma Tah sorority. She worked at the JC Penny in the Crossroads mall for several years, and worked for the Mine Academy, and was currently working of MSHA in Pineville, at the time of her death. Sara was a very loving and devoted mother to her son Konnor, she was active in countless youth sports activities throughout our area. Sara was a wonderful person, who loved and showed love to all that knew her, she will be sadly missed. 

Sara was preceded in death by her grandparents Billie and Sharon Canada, and Bernard and Marjorie Whitt. 

In addition to her parents, Sara is survived by, her pride and joy, her son Konnor Fox, her sister Brook Lockridge and her husband Allery "Bean", her nieces Alexia, Kylah, and Jacelyn, the father of her son, Jeff Fox, and Konnor's brother Chad Fox, and a host of extended family, friends, and coworkers. 

Services will Monday March 18, 2019 at noon at the Christian Fellowship Worship Center in Pineville with Pastor Bill Goode officiating. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers. Following the service she will be laid to rest in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. 

Friends may gather with the family from 6-9pm Sunday evening March 17, 2019 at the church.
