Ruth "Cricket" Marie (McKinney) Sizemore

Ruth "Cricket" Marie McKinney Sizemore 73, of Skin Fork, went home to the be with her Lord on Friday October 4, 2019 at her home following a long illness. Born August 2, 1946, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Okie Carl and Arlene Lucas McKinney. 

Cricket was a longtime member of the Cooper Memorial Baptist Church, and she loved bowling, going to church, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Roy McKinney, and Buddy McKinney. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 53 years John Sizemore, her 2 children Tom Sizemore and his wife Shawna, and Vicki Powell and her husband Richard. 3 grandchildren Jonathon, Justin, and Jessica Sizemore, and a great grand child Remington, 3 sisters Sue Morgan and her husband Rocky, Barbara Blankenship and her husband Roy Lee, and Betty Mohney, a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends, and church family. 

Services will be Tuesday October 8, 2019 at 11am at the Cooper Memorial Baptist Church, with Pastor Merle Walls officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny. 

Friends may gather with the family on Monday evening from 6-8pm at Evans-Calfee Chapel in Pineville.
