Roger Dean Farley

Roger D. Farley 69, of New Richmond passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday November 25, 2018 following a long illness. 

Born July 5, 1949 in Pineville he was the son of the late Guy Farley Sr. and Helen Laxton Farley. 

Roger was a life long resident of Wyoming County. Roger enjoyed playing games on his computer, watching old Westerns on TV, and spending time with his family and friends. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Powers, sister-in-law Linda Farley, and two brothers-in-law Eddy Umberger, and Grover Powers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters Brinda Browning and husband Wesley of Wytheville Va, Joy Umberger of Wytheville Va, his brothers Randall Farley and his wife Debbie of West Union, Guy Farley of Saulsville, Jerome Farley of New Richmond, Teddy Farley Sr and his wife Louise of Lewisburg, and Randall "Bug" Farley of Louisburg NC. and a his best friend Les Beverly of Pineville, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

Services will be at 1pm Wednesday November 28, 2018 in the Chapel of Evans-Calfee Funeral Service with Rev. Norman Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook cemetery in Rockview. Friends can gather with the family form 11:00am until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Devin Farley, David Powers, Doug Thorn, Billy Tomas, Dalton Powers, T.J. Farley, Jerry Whit, and Munch Powers.
