Minnie Magdalene (Morgan) Moody

Minnie Magdalene Morgan Moody 88, of Indian Creek, went home to Heaven, on May 4, 2019. 

Born October 25, 1930 in Indian Creek, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Gertrude Lambert Morgan. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband LeLand Jack Moody, a daughter Nancy Kennedy Miller, her brothers, Robert, Henry, Willie, Junior, Herbert, Ramond, Lacy, and Oley Morgan; her sisters, Gladys Fox, Pearl Rose, Anna Lee Echard, Minnie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. 

Those left to carry on her Legacy include her children; Patsy Webb Bishop, Jacqueline Atwell Blankenship, Julia Blankenship, Leland Moody Jr. and Glen Williams, her grandchildren Charles Kennedy, Keith and Kyle Webb, Jamie and Gary Atwell, Natasha Walker, Racheal Crotts, Katrinia and Cassidy Moody, Heather, Eli, Travis Williams, and Brianna and Marissa Blankenship, with many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

Services will be Wednesday May 8, 2019 at 5pm at the Brenton Church of God, in Brenton with Pastor Lee Fischer officiating. 

Friends may gather with the family from 3pm until service time Wednesday at the church. 

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Amedisys Hospice 545 Airport Road Suite 201 Bluefield Wv 24701.
