Mary E. Green Copley went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Born July 18, 1936 in Mullens she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Nancy Jane O'Neal Green.
Mary attended Coon Fork Church, where she loved going to church. She worked for many years as a caregiver to the elderly for many years. She loved working in her flower garden, going to yard sales, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Copley, 4 brothers James Green, Sampson Green, David Harrison Green, and Johnny Green. 1 sister Zonna Morgan, her grandson Robert Green, and her daughter-in-law Helen Green.
Those left to cherish her memory include her 3 children Bobby Green, Nancy Sue Massie and her husband Cecil, and Brenda Blankenship and her husband Roy. 4 grandchildren Heather Massie Martin, Hollie Massie, Armanda Terrie Green, and Roy Blankenship Jr. 6 great grandchildren Dakota Fortner, Jordan Massie, Destiny Massie, Harmony Barlow, Colton Blankenship, and Jayda Johnson. 1 brother Danny Green, and 2 sisters Charlotte Blankenship, and Elva Hall, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Services will be Friday November 15, 2019 at 12 pm in the chapel of Evans-Calfee in Pineville following the service she will be laid to rest in the Bud Community cemetery at Bud.
Friends may gather with the family from 10am until service time Friday at the funeral home.
