Joyce Marion Johnson

Joyce Johnson, 88 of Pineville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday November 29, 2018. Born June 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Elford and Wavey Wahl.

Joyce was a longtime member of Rockcastle Baptist church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, hunting, camping, shopping, and just loving life. 

In additon to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hoover Johonson. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her four boys Gene, Roger, Timmy and Barry. Her daughters-in-law: Pam and Kaye. Her brother Darrel Wahl, and her sisters: Wanda Cleo Crowder, and Lois Johnson. Her grandchildren Stephanie Vance, Mathew Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Kevin Johnson, and Kelly Johnson. Many nieces, nephews, and countless friends. 

Services will be Monday December 3, 3018 at 1:00pm with Rev. Doc Adkins, and Rev. Silas Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery on Johnson Hollow Road in Pineville.
