James Thompson 74 of Glen Fork passed away Tuesday October 2, 2018.
Born January 26, 1944 in Wyoming county he was the son of the late Arthur and Lilly Bailey Thompson.
James was a retired coal miner with over 36 years of working in the mines. He was member of the UMWA. James was an avid outdoors man and loved being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 2 brothers Roger Thompson, and David Thompson. His Great Granddaughter Katelyn Rocchi.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Dollie Thompson, his 2 sons Brain Thompson and Charles Thompson. 4 grand children: Heather Rocchi, Cody Thompson, Stephanie Richardson, and Samantha Mitchell. 9 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Leroy Thompson, and Leon Thompson. 5 sisters: Betty Bailey, Bethal Gannon, Clesty Kinney, Eleanor Hardister, and Suzie Tilley, and a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends and extended family.
