Hubert Paul Hatfield, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

Born January 3, 1938 in Guyan, WV, he was the son of the late Kelly Hatfield and Lessie Morgan Hatfield.

Hubert enjoyed living on the farm and tending to his cows. On the weekends he liked to go sight seeing and to attend gospel sings.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sue Hatfield, his daughter Sharon Sue Hatfield and two brothers, Eli Curtis Hatfield and Jimmy Pete Hatfield.

Survivors include two sons, Kelly Hatfield and Keith Hatfield and wife Katie, all of Coal Mountain; two grandchildren, Adam Hatfield of Coal Mountain and Kayla Maynard and husband T.J.; three great-grandchildren, Makenna Maynard, Bria Maynard and Jace Maynard; a brother, Travis Hatfield and wife Bonnie, of Hamlin, NY; sisters, Grethel Dixon of Abington, VA, Opal Bailey of Hanover, Donna Lavender and companion Francis Dandrea of Holley,NY and Liz Lester and husband Gerald of Foster; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
