Freeda Loraine Hash Lambert 91, of Pineville passed away on Friday May 17, 2019.
Freeda was born June 13, 1927 in Maben, she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Ethel Carty Hash.
She was raised in the Mullens area, but had been a resident of Pineville for many years. Freeda was a longtime member of the Pineville United Methodist Church, she served the Lord many years, by helping with many of the churches ministries. Throughout her years of service to our community, Freeda served in countless civic organizations and clubs. She loved making crafts and going out and sharing her creations with everyone. She loved cooking, but most of all she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years Dr. Sam Lambert, her sisters: Reva Monday, Geraldine Jackson, and Daline Hause. Her nephew Mathew Lambert.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Dr. Monica Ann Lambert, her son-in-law Loren Petrof, her two grandson's Joseph Samuel Petrof, and Lambert Jonathon Petrof, her nieces and nephews Donna Carte, Dana Craig, Laura McKinney, Heather Reed, Michael Monday, Jackie Lambert, and Jason Trisler, her brother in law Jack Lambert, and her sister in Law Christine Ferguson. She leaves behind a host of extended family and many friends.
Services will be Tuesday May 21, 2019 at 11am at the Pineville United Methodist Church, following the service Freeda will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Friends may gather with the family from 6-8pm Monday evening at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Freeda's memory to the Pineville United Methodist Church.
