Franklin E Day

Franklin Eugene Day, 74, passed away peacefully but unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

Born September 7, 1944 in Glen Fork, WV, he was the son of the late Estel Day and Mary Stella Turner Day.

Franklin enjoyed mowing grass, fishing, spending time with his family and going to church. He attended Ark of Safety Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Magdeline Cozort and her husband Ben, Thelma Bailey and husband Oscar and Gaye Ellen Powers and husband Jake and his brother Edgar Day, Jr.

Survivors include his loving wife, Nancy; sons, Timothy Wayne Day and wife Linda of NC and John Kenneth Day and wife Dana of Ravencliff; sister Lola Mae Tilley of Glen Fork; grandchildren, Zachary, Donna, Susie, Betty, CJ and Cassie; and great-grandchildren Shaylee, Kenzie, Kaleigh and Jo.
