Donna Drusilla (Hughes) Hamilton

Donna Drusilla Hamilton 62, of Pineville passed away in the comforts of her home on December 6, 2018. She was born December 8, 1955 to Bruce and Lovis Hughes in Ieager, WV. She married the love of her life, her "Little Man", Charles Vinton Hamilton on November 6, 1981.

Donna is survived by her husband of 37 years; two sons and one daughter. Charlie(Shana) of Coal Mountain WV, Wendi(Leslie) of Barnesville, OH; Michael(Lisa) of St. Albans, WV. Granddaughters MaKayla Jordan, and Baylee Elise. She is also survived by hers sisters Bonnie(Mack) and Michelle. Special nieces, Missy, Becki, Jaime and special nephew Isaac, and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A very special Uncle Clifford, a host of sister and brother- in -laws, and an abundance of special friends that were like sisters. 

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Lovis Hughes, her brother Bruce Michael Hughes, her 3 sisters Melissa Gayle Hughes, Jacquetta Sue Hughes and Palma Morgan. 

Donna was devoted member of Eagle Sanctuary and was active in the Choir, and Women's Ministry. She was a woman of tremendous faith in God.

She loved her family, her friends, and spending quality time with the ones she loved. In the words of her Granddaughter MaKayla, "She was the kindest most genuine, most caring woman I have ever known. Anyone who knew her, knows how much of a blessing she was to have and it has been so tragic to lose someone that was such a blessing to all of us." And her Granddaughter Baylee, "The sunset is absolutely beautiful, and I 100% believe it is my Nana showing us she's ok, and still with us. Fly High my Angel.  

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday December 16, 2018 at Eagle Sanctuary, Christian, WV with visitiation from  Noon until 1:30 PM and services immediately following. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Pecks Mills,WV. 

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Eagle Sanctuary, or the American Cancer Society.
