Charles Lawson Bailey 84, of Brenton passed away Sunday September 30, 2018

Born December 22, 1933 in Jesse, he was the son of the late Lewis and Della Allen Bailey.

Charles was a veteran of the US Army, longtime coal miner, and member of the UMWA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Bailey.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife Liddie Bailey, 3 daughters Avis Rowe, Christine (Jeff) Adkins of Fayetteville, and Carmella Bailey of Hinton, 8 sons Gary Bailey, Steve (Patricia) Bailey of Daniels, Rodney Bailey of South Carolina, Edward Bailey, Donald (Danielle) Bailey, Keith Bailey, Kenny Bailey of North Carolina,and Charles Tolliver of Oceana. 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grand child.
