Berkley Leroy Conner

Berkley Leroy Conner 78, of McGraws passed away Wednesday August 14, 2019 at the Bowers Hospice house. 

Born September 16, 1940 in Matoka, he was the son of the late Arlie and Loraine Moore Conner. 

Leroy worked in the coal mines for over 26 years, and was a member of the UMWA. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step son Lacy Michael Lafferty, and 2 brothers Harold and Jarold Conner. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 27 years Freda Conner, his 2 children David Conner and Treasa Conner, 2 grandchildren Brandie Conner and Levi Conner. 1 step daughter Glenna Cozort and her husband Kenny, 5 step grandchildren Melanie Meadows and her husband Pete, Shanna Lilly and her husband Mike, Bryan Cozort and his wife Stacy, Aaron Cozort, Brandon Cozort and his wife Chelsea, and a special great grandson Ethan Harvey and his wife Krista, 14 step great grandchildren, and 1 great great grand daughter, one brother Arlie Conner, and his sister Eupha Ellison, and a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends. 

Services will be Sunday August 18, 2019 at 2pm in the chapel of Evans-Calfee of Pineville, with Pastor Jason Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Bower Cemetery Twin Falls. 

Friends may gather with the family from 1pm until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
