Vivian (Riffe) Bailey

Vivian Bailey, 87, went to her Heavenly home, Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley surrounded by her family.

Born June 7, 1934 in Giles County Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Elliot Carbaugh and Lena Bell Rodgers Carbaugh.

Vivian loved the Lord and attended Oceana Church of God. She enjoyed singing and playing music. Her favorite way to pass time was spending time with her family. She was a light in a dark world, she will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by both her first and second husband, Ernest Riffe and Leonard C. Bailey Jr; two sons, Eddie Riffe and Clyde Steven Riffe (infant); a granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Riffe; sisters, Dolly Carbaugh, Clara Ingram and Dorothy Morgan; and a brother, Eugene Carbaugh.

Vivian is survived by her son, Lewis Riffe of Oceana; grandchildren, Jason Riffe and wife Kristy, Kristin Riffe and her fiancé, Corey and Angela Riffe; great-grandchildren, Trey and Mackenzie; and daughters-in-law, Debbie Riffe and Karen Riffe; and a host of nieces and nephews.
