Robert "Bobby" Carl Ramsey 64, of Mill Creek in Brenton, passed away on Friday March 18, 2022 in the Bowers Hospice House with his loving family by his side.
Born December 22, 1957 in New Brighton Pa, he was the son of the late Carlo and Anna Marie Cook Ramsey.
Bobby was a retired coalminer, working for many years at US Steel, at the Pinnacle Mine in Pineville. Bobby was an active member of the Brenton Volunteer Fire Department, where he was still serving on the Board at the time of his death. He enjoyed going to ball games, spending time with his family, and watching the birds come to the feeders around his home.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, his sisters Joyce Ramsey, Rose Breeding, Vicky Mills, and his beloved dog Buddy, whom he had with him for 17 years.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved daughter Katie Ramsey (Steven) and his grandchildren Keevin, Karson, and Kason Hash. His beloved sisters: Sarah Tegtmeier (Tom) of Ft. Worth Tx, Carla Bailey (Major) of Rockhouse, Barbara Stacy (Lee-Lee) of Glover, Gloria Blankenship (Delwood) of Oceana, a god daughter Christina Ramsey. His life long friends Bill and Evelyn Rodgers, and his best friends Ronnie Toler and Teddy Rife, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, his brothers and sisters at the Brenton Volunteer Fire Department, and countless friends.
In keeping with his wishes, following the services he will be cremated.
